Ol Tukai is located in the heart of Amboseli national park with accommodation in brick and wooden cottages with views overlooking the swamps and Mount Kilimanjaro. During the day the swamp is visited by vast herds of elephant sometimes numbering several hundred who come to drink and bathe.It also has a split level bar which has some great views of the swamps and elephants. It is worth taking a walk up observation hill which offers spectacular views of the park. The only down side is the park gets very busy with visitors from both the coast and Nairobi and you can get up to 20 vehicles surrounding a lion all jostling to try and get the best photos.
The lodge has 80 rooms with private patios. There are double storied three bedroom houses with verandahs on both floors, a spacious living room and large jacuzzi all with stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
